Product privacy

DataBridge

DataBridge processes captured webpage data locally in the browser for the purpose of transferring a record between webpages.

North Pixel does not receive or store the contents of transferred records.

Storage

DataBridge may temporarily store the Current Record locally in the browser so the user can complete a transfer. Users can clear the Current Record at any time.

DataBridge may also store learned field connections locally so that future transfers can be performed more efficiently. These connections describe field relationships and are not intended to retain historical customer record values.

Users can view and remove learned pages and other local DataBridge data through the extension's Settings page.

Privacy principles

DataBridge is designed to block sensitive authentication and payment fields, including passwords, passcodes, PINs, CVV/CVC values, payment-card numbers, and similar authentication or payment secrets.

DataBridge does not use transferred record contents for advertising, analytics, or telemetry.

Pro licensing

North Pixel products may offer optional paid Pro features. Payments and billing are handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Polar handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes, invoices and payment receipts. Where supported by the product, Polar also provides license management. North Pixel does not process payment card information.

When a product uses license activation, only the information required to process the purchase and manage the license is shared with Polar. Product records and locally stored working data are not sent to Polar for licensing purposes.

User control

Download Source Log

Users can remove individual records or clear their Download Source Log history.

Removing a Download Source Log record does not delete the user's actual downloaded file.

DataBridge

Users can clear the Current Record, forget learned field connections, and remove locally stored DataBridge data.

Removing DataBridge data affects only DataBridge's locally stored working or learned data. North Pixel does not maintain a server-side copy of transferred records.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when North Pixel adds products or when product functionality changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
